IRRV Benefit & Benefit Fraud Conference

Our thanks to Debbie Gibbons and Nick Jennings who manned the LAIOG stand throughout this event on our behalf. Together with Jo Fox they put together promotional material to hand out to promote LAIOG, the York conference and generally raise our profile with mangers and Heads of Service.

Their feedback was very positive following a busy couple of days. The agenda for York was well received with Heads of Service and mangers being particularly impressed with the idea of training certificates being given out. Nick and Debbie were pleased to meet up with members who in turn were pleased to see closer relations with the IRRV being developed.

On this note the Executive Committee will be looking at various closer working issues with the IRRV over the next 12 months. These include training, press articles, and a joint conference. We will let you know how things progress through this website. The IRRV are keen to work with us, stressing that it would be a partnership.

As part of this closer working the IRRV will be at York in April – at the LAIOG Annual Training Event.
