<p>Applications are invited from candidates who have experience of Traffic Engineering techniques, are computer literate and have a working knowledge of Auto-Cad.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Transportation Team Manager you will be responsible for surveying, design of Traffic and Transportation Schemes and committee plans.</p>
<p>You should preferably be educated to at least National Diploma or Certificate or NVQ3 in Civil Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification and have experience in Traffic Engineering.</p>
<p>Progression through the career grade will be subject to qualifications and performance.</p>

<p>This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified person to join the East Sussex Structures Team. You will have a good knowledge of structural engineering, preferably with experience of working within a structures team. You will have a HND, and the ability to prepare and manage bridge maintenance projects. You will be involved in a wide range of projects from assessments and technical approvals to detailed designs.</p>

<p>Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.</p>
